Pink MP3 Players came across the TrekStor i.Beat and just had to get out a review since it is offered in Pink.  What we found out is that this little unit is a compact unit similar in size to the nano, with a efficient sized screen.  TrekStor GmbH has teamed with singer/songwriter Pink to offer an exclusive pink MP3 player named for the performer, engraved with her signature and preloaded with photos.

Some of the extras that you can expect from the TrekStor i.Beat is an FM tuner, for those times you are looking for a change, or want to catch the local sports game.  A voice recorder for jotting down those not to be forgotten appointments, and video support with this TrekStor i.Beat Pink Mp3 Player.

Pink MP3 players likes this unit because it is cross platform compatible, featuring Windows, Macintosh and Linux.  But there are always some downsides, and the TrekStor i.Beat has some of its own.

Pink MP3 players found that the touch sensitive controls on this unit really take some getting used to, so that you can maneuver around to where you want.  There is no dedicated volume control, and the photos on the screen have only a so-so quality, not to mention one thing at a time, you cannot view photos while listening to music.

Other things that Pink MP3 Players found is that there is no support on the TrekStor i.Beat for album art or protected music.  And you can expect an average sound quality.

All in all the Pink MP3 Players thinks that the TrekStor i.Beat is a reasonably priced entry player for beginners into the world of digital music, but you can find better if you search around.
